The Stockholm marathon had just wrapped up, with some runners braving the heat to challenge themselves while others sported slogans supporting the political cause they were passionate about. We took a detour on the way home, and there I saw it, as if for the first time, this statue of a knight standing tall in front of the almost oppressively tall tower of the city hall.It made me think of the hope people attribute to Stockholm, the city people come to with the hope of speaking freely, or to speak on behalf of people who can't.Print size: 29 x 38cm, perfect for framing in a 40 x 50 frame with passepartout.

I hadn't been to Göteborg for a few years when we booked a stop there during our summer trip. It took me far too long to visit Malmö. "I want to be there instead"We had hiked to a fortress at the edge of a cliff on Bornholm.
